Organized by the 7 Billion Actions Initiative and the Foundation 10.12.48, this global film competition was created to inspire people everywhere. So if you can, use your time and skills to explore either of these subjects:
• Poverty and breaking the circle of inequality
• Empowerment and progress of women and girls
• Young people
• Reproductive health and rights
• Healthy environmental and healthy people
• Aging
• Urbanization-planning for growth.
The last day to enter is 9pm GMT on 15 February, 2012. A jury selects the shortlist (10 films) and then an online voting process determines who the winners are.
The winners will be announced on March 8, 2012 and the awards are: First Place: $ 4.000, Second Place: $ 2.000, Third Place: $ 1.000.
