Attention screenwriters or filmmakers with a feature script ready to meet the world: Regardless of genre and budget, Showtime’s Tony Cox Screenplay Competition welcomes your entries. You submit your work electronically as a PDF or word file) and in standard feature length (90-125pp).
International writers/filmmakers are welcome to enter but the screenplay must be in English. The deadlines are as follows:
- Regular Submissions, March 12, 2012 – Fee: $55
- WAB Extended Deadline, March 26, 2012 – Fee: $80 via www.withoutabox.com only
Notifications will go out by early June and the winner will be announced at the festival’s award ceremony on June 24, 2012.
Note that the competition does NOT accept scripts for short or documentary films.
