YouTube has launched a worldwide search for the best storytellers alive. Make a short film that is 15 minutes or less and submit it between February 2 and March 31, for the chance to take home $500,000 toward making your next movie.
The public will vote for their favorite entry, sending 10 of the best filmmakers/storytellers to the 2012 Venice Film Festival where the winner will receive their grant to create a new project produced by – catch this – Ridley Scott and his team.
